Process engineer

You are responsible for ensuring that nonwoven production on the production lines is guaranteed and optimised in terms of costs, quality, throughput time and energy consumption.

With your strong sense of responsibility, creative drive and implementation skills, you will optimise and further develop the process engineering processes on the individual systems.

You will qualify alternative raw materials, carry out product optimisations and introduce new products to the systems. You will be involved in projects and ensure that targets, deadlines and budgets are met. You are characterised by a high level of motivation and a great affinity for methods.

Your qualifications

  • Engineering degree specialising in process engineering, materials science / chemistry or mechanical engineering
  • Sound practical knowledge in plastics processing or specialisation in the plastics sector

  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • High level of initiative as well as a systematic and structured way of working

Personnel officer

To ensure our growth, you will be tasked with finding the most interesting candidates who are passionate and creative about their work.

You will be responsible for guiding candidates through our recruitment process. You will advise, support and manage the entire recruitment process, from recording requirements and conducting interviews through to onboarding. In our recruitment process, you rely on facts as well as on the results and behaviour of the candidates.

Empathy and relationship building are your strengths. You will also provide support with HR administration tasks such as monthly salary processing and increase awareness of hydroWEB as an attractive employer through various employer branding measures.

Your qualifications

  • Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in HR and/or communication or commercial training with additional qualification in HR
  • At least 2 years of work experience in human resources, especially in dialogue management
  • Very good language skills in German (level C2) and English (level B1) as well as confident use of MS Office
  • Curiosity, courage and creativity to try out new approaches
  • Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and a strong service orientation towards colleagues

Trainee Technology and Lean Management

Do you get things done, contribute your own ideas and want to shape the future of our company? Do you also have a strong affinity for methods and want to contribute to the development of sustainable products and processes?

Structure of the programme:

➡ Lean management training at our sister company SIGA AG in Switzerland
➡ Practical implementation of what you have learnt at hydroWEB
➡ After your basic training, you will implement the knowledge you have acquired at our site in Halberstadt
➡ Depending on your interests and skills, you will take on a responsible specialist or management role. To this end, you will receive further in-depth training at SIGA (specialist or management training).

Your qualifications

  • Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in the field of engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering/technology or industrial engineering
  • Practical work experience in a technical environment is desirable
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good German and good English skills

Maintenance technician / industrial mechanic

As a maintenance technician, you will ensure a high level of system availability in our nonwoven production through preventive maintenance. This includes inspection, maintenance and the professional and safety-compliant repair of the systems.

In reactive maintenance, you will carry out systematic analyses and rectify faults in a sustainable manner. In doing so, you will keep the safety and quality requirements of the systems at the highest level at all times.

You will also support the existing maintenance team in the implementation of plant optimization projects and share your technical expertise with other departments.

Your qualifications

  • Completed training (recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce) in the field of mechatronics, electrics, industrial mechanics or a related field

  • Professional training or further training such as technician, master craftsman training or a degree from a university of applied sciences or university is a plus

  • Professional experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and preventive maintenance

  • Very good written and spoken German

  • Experienced with MS Office

  • Structured approach to fault analysis

  • Flexible, committed and independent way of working as well as a quick grasp of new tasks
